Kate Hutchinson

Kate Hutchinson has written about music and pop culture regularly for The New York Times, The Guardian, Observer New Review, NME, Q, Mixmag, The Independent, The Telegraph and The Quietus and also for Stylist, i-D, Dazed, VICE, Mr Porter and BBC Music. She was also the Contributing Editor and then Deputy Editor at iconic pop culture weekly the Guardian Guide.

Kate is also a rising broadcaster and in 2016 she co-hosted a series of radio shows on NTS with the likes of Neneh Cherry, Fat White Family, Bobby Gillespie and Stewart Lee, who she almost knocked out live on air. In 2017 she launched the Guardian’s first Facebook Live culture series, interviewing Wolfgang Tillmans, Feist, Tegan & Sara and David Rodigan about their careers. She is currently working on her first book.
