Adrian Tempany
Winner of the New Writer category at the Cross Sports Book of the Year Awards
Adrian is a Liverpool supporter and a journalist who has written for the Guardian, Observer, The Times and Financial Times.
Born in 1970, he followed Liverpool around the country in the 1980s, and was on the Leppings Lane at Hillsborough in 1989.
And the Sun Shines Now is his first book. David Peace called it “the most compelling, most important book about modern football”. It was short-listed for both the Gordon Burn Prize and the Orwell Prize.
