David Sharp

David located to Berlin in 2009 after seven years with the BBC in London and Glasgow. Previously, he had travelled around the world covering all of the major road bike races including the Tour de France, Giro d’Italia, and Paris-Roubaix, and interviewing all the big names in the sport in his role as Deputy Editor of Procycling magazine. David now freelances for various publications in the UK and Germany, writing sport, travel and culture features. After a hiatus from cycling journalism he recently returned to writing about the sport for Rouleur magazine. His biography on Chris Froome – Va Va Froome – is published by Birlinn.
