Ruth Ogilvie-Brown

Ruth Ogilvie-Brown writes historical middle grade detective stories with a spooky flavour. She is a law graduate who lives with her husband in Dundee, where she edits university websites and supports staff with online learning technology.

Ruth has had short stories published by Ellipsis Zine and Funny Pearls and was shortlisted for the Bath Children’s novel award, for her manuscript Lottie Frew and the Ghosts of Regents Terrace.

When she’s not writing, she likes going for long walks on Scottish beaches, even when it’s freezing. This has resulted in a large collection of bobble hats
