Sara Hawys Roberts

Sara Hawys Roberts graduated with a first class degree in Creative Writing from The University of Glamorgan. She won a writing bursary with Literature Wales thereafter, and was a semi finalist in BBC Wales’ Writers Room Drama Award. Her first book, Withdrawn Traces, about the life and disappearance of enigmatic writer/guitarist Richey Edwards of the Manic Street Preachers, was researched and co-written with Leon Noakes and endorsed by Richey’s sister Rachel Edwards. Published in January 2019, Withdrawn Traces features new discoveries and fresh perspectives on Richey’s disappearance, together with a range of previously unseen material from his personal archive.
